Some days I feel spent, Lord. And I feel exhausted from social media—the nonstop expectations that are not at all from You, and a whole host of mess that the world throws at me. Then there is a matter of my own sin that tries to destroy me.
I love these verses from Lamentations. I love the fact that You love me so steadfastly that I will not be consumed. And that Your mercies are new every morning. That is just what I need again today. May my gratitude to You be as faithful as Your mercies are to me.
