He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8 (NIV)
Jesus, thank You for helping me to get my spiritual ducks in a row. For taking what is not so pretty in me and making it beautiful. Then I can finally look in the mirror and not be embarrassed by the person I see gazing back at me. Day by day, I see more facets of You in my spirit! I am hoping to rejoice in that maturity without getting all arrogant about it. Because I get this feeling that the second I think I’ve got all my spiritual ducks in a row, they will scatter like, well, ducks! Help me to always know what is good in Your sight and to walk humbly with You.
Questions to Ponder…
What are the ways that I might be growing in my walk with the Lord?
How can I continue to mature spiritually with the help of the Holy Spirit?
