Dear Lord, I like to surround myself with nice people and easy situations. But, sometimes You ask me to help people who are not easy. They might be, in fact, truly gnarly folk who are hard to get along with and ungrateful to boot!
But with Your help I will try not to lean on my own flawed understanding and submit to You. And thank You for loving me, even when I become one of the truly gnarly folk!
Questions for Pondering…
Am I obedient when God wants me to help someone who is difficult?
Do those people sometimes soften when they see the love of Christ in me?
